Brexit Event: What business needs to know
On Wednesday 6th March, join RTE's Tony Connelly and the Institute of Directors' Allie Renison at Lexington Communications for Brexit: what business needs to know.
Lexington is delighted to be hosting Tony Connelly, Europe Editor of RTE, and Allie Renison, Head of EU and Trade Policy at the Institute of Directors, for our Brexit breakfast panel entitled ‘Brexit and beyond: what business needs to know’.
The event will take place at Lexington Communications, 198 High Holborn, on Wednesday 6th March from 8.30am until 10.00am. Breakfast will be served from 8.00am.
Our expert panel will look at the current Brexit state of play, the lessons from the Withdrawal Agreement negotiations for the future EU-UK trade talks, and the challenges for business as the UK prepares for life outside the EU. The event will be chaired by Paul McGrade, Lexington’s senior counsel on Brexit. Paul is a lawyer and former diplomat who previously led the FCO Lisbon Treaty Bill team, and the Eurozone crisis response.
Tony Connelly is an award-winning journalist, RTE Europe Editor, the author of ‘Brexit & Ireland’, and co-presenter of the Brexit Republic Podcast. Tony is widely recognised as one of the most authoritative journalistic voices on Brexit, and broke the story of the initial UK-EU Withdrawal Agreement.
Allie Renison is the Institute of Directors’ Head of EU and Trade Policy, where she leads on devising recommendations and representing the voice of members on EU policy matters both to Westminster and Whitehall and with European institutions. She provides the link between business and Government on increasing international trade and has authored a number of reports on trends in both trade and trade policy, as well as running a number of trade missions for IoD members around the world every year. She also routinely provides advocacy for the IoD on a range of regulatory issues in Brussels.
