Lydia joined Lexington at the beginning of this year, having moved from her role as Assistant News Editor at the Daily Telegraph, where she managed a team of news reporters for the daily and Sunday papers. She provides media relations, strategic communications advice, media training and crisis communications support for a range of clients.
Previously, she worked as a news reporter for both the Sunday and Daily Telegraph, as well as for MailOnline, South West News Service and The Northern Echo. She has an extensive network of media contacts and has freelanced for publications including the Scottish Mail on Sunday, The Independent and The Times. She has also worked as an audience development executive, focusing on building The Telegraph’s audience through SEO and social media, and gained experience at a number of magazines and newspaper supplements.
Lydia has a MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. She likes running, cooking and reading.
