Michael leads our planning practice in the south and has five years’ experience of advising clients on communications strategies for schemes ranging from residential, build-to-rent, extra-care, mixed-use and strategic land promotions through to hotel, leisure and office developments.

He has a helped to secure planning permission for more than 11,000 new homes across London and the South East alongside commercial space that’s four times the size of the pitch at Wembley Stadium.

His work has included big estate regeneration projects including with Berkeley Homes on their Kidbrooke Village scheme, with Build-to-Rent developer Essential Living’s award-winning Creekside Wharf development as well as with mixed-use specialist First Base on their schemes across London and the south east. His work has therefore led him to work on sites from Oxfordshire to Brighton, Southampton to Norwich and Portsmouth to Hertfordshire.

Prior to working in consultancy, Michael worked in the House of Commons as a Parliamentary researcher for two MPs, and then as a full-time Campaign Manager for the Labour Party in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
