Associate Director or SAD (Health)

Are you a leader in healthcare communications who is looking for the next big role? At Lexington we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and enthusiastic Associate Director to help lead our healthcare practice and to work on our fast-growing range of public affairs clients.
In this role you will be a key leader within the health team, heading up campaigns to help solve some of the UK’s biggest healthcare challenges – from cancer and hepatitis C to heart failure and dementia. You will also advise clients who are working at the heart of the UK’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. From world-leading pharmaceutical manufacturers to AI tech companies; national medical research institutes to medical cannabis start-ups, you will draw on your knowledge of the healthcare, media and communications landscape to help them navigate – and lead – in a rapidly changing environment.
The successful candidate, who will have at least eight years’ experience in relevant agency or in-house roles, will join a fast-paced, friendly and expanding team where there will be significant opportunities for career development. Key responsibilities
Help lead the healthcare team, including line management and business development
Lead on key public affairs accounts across a range of different sectors and areas
Take a leading role in new business activity and marketing, including seeking out new leads, drafting proposals and leading in new business pitches
Develop campaigns to deliver tangible change; acting as day-to-day lead on project implementation;
Lead a range of client accounts and relationships
Effective management and mentorship to help team members reach their full potential

Interview/Start Dates
