Finance Manager
We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our team.
Qualified Accountant/QBE 6 years+

We are looking for an accurate and performance-driven Finance Manager with extensive experience of being in charge of all financial functions within the company and comprehensive knowledge of financial systems and processes.
Key qualities we are looking for:
Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Organizational skills: High level of organizational abilities to manage various financial tasks effectively.
Negotiation & commercial acumen: Confident in reviewing contracts and driving cost efficiencies
Interpersonal skills: Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and senior partners.
Project management: Proven ability to manage financial projects from conception to completion.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in interactions across various levels of the organization.
Problem-solving: Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Technological proficiency: Experience with financial software systems; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a distinct advantage.
Excel & IT skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong overall IT proficiency.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive financial decisions.
What does the role entail?
Financial reporting: Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint to manage data and produce comprehensive financial reports
Revenue recognition: Manage and ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies
Sales management: Raise sales invoices, update the sales ledger, and upload all invoices to clients.
Credit control: Manage credit control processes to ensure timely collections.
Cash flow management: Monitor daily cash flow and produce monthly cash flow reports.
Budgeting & forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
Audit support: Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Process improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and conduct internal training for staff.
Purchase ledger: Update and maintain the purchase ledger accurately.
Expense management: Analyze company expenses, approving or questioning as needed.
Payment processing: Execute monthly payment runs for suppliers and expenses via BACS.
Bank administration: Administer banking transactions, prepare weekly banking reports, and manage monthly BACS payments (HMRC, business rates, etc.).
Capacity planning: Report on capacity planning, monitoring under- and over-servicing.
Procurement documentation: Complete supplier banking documents for GBP, USD, and Euro transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and client specifications.
Ad-hoc support: Provide ad hoc financial support to the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
