Research Assistant
(CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Research Assistant to join our award-winning Corporate Communications & Reputation team.
This role will be a core part of our Corporate Communications & Reputation team, which builds and protects the reputations of global brands, businesses and organisations. We help clients earn trust, manage risk and lead meaningful conversations with the audiences that matter. From high-impact media campaigns and thought leadership to internal comms and crisis response, we work across every aspect of reputation management.
We’re a creative and ambitious team who believe corporate communications doesn’t have to be boring – and as our Research Assistant, you’ll have the chance to contribute to real client work from day one.
What does success look like in the role?
The successful candidate will work under their own initiative to:
Provide clearly articulated, accurate research on media, social media and broader communications activity in a timely manner, sometimes involving complex issues for a variety of audiences
Write in a variety of styles e.g. press releases, media comments, proposal documents, reports and analysis
Engage with media on behalf of clients, including carrying out sell-ins and working with specific journalists on campaigns and programmes
Contribute research ahead of pitches to prospective clients
Start to build an understanding of our clients, their needs, and how we as a commercial agency can help them
Support creative campaign development for clients across our business
What we’re looking for in the successful candidate
A genuine interest in agency work
A motivated team player keen to support their colleagues
A positive attitude, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
Studied or be studying for a degree in a relevant subject
A strong understanding of and an interest in UK media and social media
But more than anything we are looking for a driven, motivated team player who puts their heart and soul into their work and would enjoy a varied role where you need to think creatively as well as follow process. The successful candidate will want to support their team members, will feel an emotional connection to their work and be intelligent and intellectually curious.
