We are looking for a creative Digital Design Consultant to join our friendly Manchester based team of PR and Public Affairs consultants. With clients across Property, Energy, Health, Housing and other sectors, your work will be varied and interesting, supporting our growing team of around 15 consultants on projects, pitches and provision of creative solutions.
The role will be based in our Lexington North office (with hybrid working), helping to service clients and grow our integrated digital offer.
We are looking for someone who is able to quickly interpret business and client needs, turning briefs into compelling creative solutions. The designer will manage the concept development, creation and production of ongoing design content through to the generation of client assets, therefore you must have a proven track record of creative delivery using digital products.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The role will include designing client websites and content, social media graphics, issues-led campaigns, digital brochures and using infographics, video packages, and having a knowledge of print design. You will be joining us at an exciting time as our new identity becomes embedded post Lexington’s recent rebrand.
Responsibilities
Distil abstract business concepts and client needs into elegant creative solutions
Take responsibility for the output driving creativity and quality standards
Pitch ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly to clients
Collaborate on multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
Be able to own the development of the design team with minimal supervision
We are looking for someone who has:
Three or more years of experience as a digital designer in an agency environment
First rate knowledge of industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Cloud)
A solid grasp of design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, and counterculture, fluency in current technology, politics, and a deep understanding of social tastes and current affairs.
Will be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with other team members and stakeholders.
Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Will enjoy the social aspects of being part of a friendly, collaborative team
